When we talk about quantities we can use a lot of words depending on the quantities we have and the nouns.

In questions when we ask about quantities we can use two wh-questions :
how much+ uncountable nouns

Some/any  mean not much/not many: they can be used to talk about  quantities with countable nouns in the plural and uncountable nouns:

some is usually used in affirmative  sentences (+)

any is used in negative  sentences (-) and  interrogative  sentences (?)

I’ve got  some fruit and some  eggs

I haven’t got any  eggs and  any  meat
